Honestly, this is a change that should have come up a few months ago! The rise of spun and copied content has given rise to millions of new websites, which have one simple concept – of stealing away customers from sites that are serious about their business and put in genuine efforts. With this new algorithm, however, there is bound to be a positive difference in the marketplace, and all content-based websites will rejoice!

But there is a cloud to this silver lining! Either way, the new algorithm is meant to sniff out the change and make sure that the sites featuring content of these types is given a push down the search rankings. How this will affect the long term campaign of SEO consultants is yet to be seen, but in general, that’s a good move also!
